All About Me

Hello, welcome to Hooves & Paws. I am Emma Reynolds, I am 20yrs old and the business owner. I set up Hooves & Paws the end of July 2023 as I wanted to incorporate both my love of horses and dogs into one place. I also help with the odd farm animal such as; Chickens,Ducks,Pigs, Donkey’s and Sheep.

I have grown up surrounded by dogs and began my training journey with my mum’s Border Terrier Maisy. Together we did basic agility, obedience gaining my bronze Good Citizen award and became junior handler award when I was 7.

I have experience in different dog sports such as; obedience, Gundog training, agility and a dabble in sheepdogs.

I got Jet my Border Collie when I was 10 and she has been the best dog, a real learning curve and ultimately the reason I love this breed in particular. Together we did sheep work and agility.

Drift arrived June ‘22 and is currently in training to be an agility dog and is showing great promises.

As I mentioned at the start I have also been involved with horses since a young age too. Primarily showing in the lead rein on a very naughty Welsh that definitely made me the rider I am today.

I now have another Welsh ‘Mr Duke’ who excels in dressage and on the trail-hunting field. I have worked with event horses which definitely helped with my attention to detail and helped bring confidence being in charge of a yard full of horses.
